Breedlove, John William Jr.

John William Breedlove Jr., 77, of Red Bank, died on Thursday, August 7, 2008.

He was an electrician and enjoyed gardening and farming. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict where he was awarded the Purple Heart.

Survivors include two daughters, Audrey Dalton, Chattanooga and Susan Breedlove, Red Bank; three sons, Randy Breedlove, Rutledge, Ga., Ricky Myrick, Dora, Alabama and John William Breedlove III, Boston, Ma.; five brothers, Jimmy, Robert, Freddie, Donald and Larry Breedlove; two sisters, Valjean Berry and Patsy Kemp; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Chaplain Captain Patrick Brownell will conduct the service in Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
