Police are still seeking information in a shooting that occurred at 6990 East Brainerd Road Thursday.

Police said 20-year-old Corderius Trammell was shot in the back as he sat in a vehicle on the parking lot of Baskin Robbins.

According to witnesses on the scene, he and four other occupants of a black SUV were attempting to pull off the lot at 6990 E. Brainerd Road when a silver-colored Chevy pulled alongside them. A black male emerged from the car and fired into the SUV. The other occupants were not injured.

The suspect then got back into his vehicle and pulled off. Unfortunately, none of the witnesses recognized the shooter, police said.

The suspect was wearing a black shirt and blue pants. The vehicle was described as a silver or gray Chevy-model vehicle.

Police are still investigating the motive behind the incident.
