The Home Builders Association of Southern Tennessee is hosting the NAHB Green Building Seminar on Sept. 17-19 at the Home Builders Association office.
There will be a 2 day Green Building seminar on Sept. 17 and 18 and the Business Management for Building Professionals Seminar will be Sept. 19th.
Participants will receive a green building certificate upon completion of the 2 day seminar. If you attend all three sessions, you are eligible to apply through NAHB to become a Certified Green Professional. John Barrows is the seminar speaker.
"Green Building/Remodeling is a growing trend. The Green Building course for building professionals discusses strategies for incorporating green-building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction. You will learn how green homes provide buyers with better value, lower energy costs, lower maintenance, better indoor air quality and long-term value. The Green Building Seminar is designed for builders, remodelers, and any other participant who wants to learn more about how to make your home "green".
