Workshops Scheduled For Neighborhood Partners Program Applicants

The Department of Neighborhood Services and Community Development has scheduled workshops for those neighborhood and civic-based organizations interested in applying for funding through the Neighborhood Partners Program.

The program offers funding for projects that focus on neighborhood development, safety and beautification efforts. Proposed projects must demonstrate civic participation and create community-based solutions that will substantially improve Chattanooga neighborhoods as well as nurture relationships among neighbors.

Applicants must attend one of the technical assistance workshops to be eligible to apply for funding through the Neighborhood Partners Program. The workshops are scheduled for:
·Thursday, Aug. 21, 10 a.m.–noon
·Thursday, Aug. 21, 6–8 p.m.
·Thursday, Sept. 11, 10 a.m.–noon
·Thursday, Sept. 25, 6–8 p.m.

All workshops are held at City Hall, 101 East 11th Street in the Third Floor Training Room.
