Obscured Speed Limit Signs

I received a speed citation taken from a camera on Broad Street last week, as did another co-worker of mine.

This morning, I drove the route to see where the speed limit signs are posted. There were two signs along my route. The first is in front of the Pilgrim's Pride plant, and nearly invisible due to trees. I have attached a photo below that I took standing on the sidewalk in front of it. I literally had to come to a complete stop while driving to even see this sign from the road, and then couldn't make out the limit clearly.

The second sign is within feet of where these cameras are, and does not provide ample distance before the photos are taken considering the first sign is hidden.

If Chattanooga wants to enforce the speed limit, they should make sure all signs are clearly visible on the roads they choose to monitor. Otherwise, this might seem to be a questionable situation similar to the one the city found themselves in a few months ago when they were ordered to refund $8,800 in red light tickets due to a shortened time on the yellow light on MLK.
