A wooden dance floor will be set up in front of the stage to encourage every generation of attendee to demonstrate their love of swing dancing. Free 20-minute swing dance lessons will be held at 5 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. The music will begin at 5:30 p.m., with Uptown Big Band directed by Jim Ransom. Swingtime Orchestra directed by Ralph Miller will perform at 7:05 p.m., followed by Sweet Georgia Sound led by Mike LaRoche at 8:30 p.m. These bands consist of local professional musicians, music teachers and band directors, and feature well-known performers. The concert will conclude at approximately 9:45 p.m. A select number of food and drink vendors will be on site for the convenience and comfort of attendees.
