Kevin J. Steward, 54, of Cleveland, died on Monday, August 18, 2008 in a Nashville hospital.
He was of the Church of God faith. He enjoyed wood working and hiking.
Mr. Steward was the son of the late James Steward and Wanda Marie Brock Steward.
He is survived by his two children, Terra Lawson of Raleigh, N.C. and Christopher Steward of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Isaac Lawson, Jonathan Lawson, Kylie Steward and Kierstin Steward; two brothers, Kenneth Steward of Ooltewah and Karl Steward of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Hugh Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
His family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 at the funeral home.
