She was of the Church of God Faith and was the wife of the late William O. Scoggins. She worked part-time for the East Ridge Car Wash, and was a member of Scenic City Friends at Parkridge Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Edward Lewis; parents, Lester and Blanche Millsaps; brothers, A.G. Millsaps, and Lester Millsaps.
She is survived by her sons, Tim (Tammy) Lewis, George (Kathy) Lewis; sisters, Lily Robinson, Pauline (Don) Schlief, Jessie Chambers; grandchildren, Chris Lewis, Kelli Lewis, and Charlena O’Malley; great-grandson, Jackson Eli Kessel.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Clayton Privett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Millsaps Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
