The entire Baylor School community came together for the annual convocation ceremony to celebrate the beginning of a new school year.
Highlights included remarks by school President Dr. Bill Stacy and Michael McBrien, head of school; a reading of the Honor Code by Honor Council Chair Audrey Owens '09, a keynote address by faculty member Heather Ott, and a special "thank you" delivered by 10 students reading in 10 languages.
The students and languages were: Candy Wijaithum, Thailand (Thai); Luka Pascalicchio of Switzerland (French); Michael Huang of Taiwan (Chinese); Julian Baker of Ecuador (Spanish); Max Boeckman of Germany (German); Jun Young Jang of Korea (Korean); Kemesha Woodfine of Jamaica (Jamaican dialect); Sofia Hoglund of Finland (Finnish); and Chuck Hudson of Chattanooga (English).
