The Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office seized cocaine and marijuana in a vehicle that was stopped on I-75 near the 33-mile marker for a traffic violation.

Two Columbus, Ga., men were arrested Wednesday night when a Drug Interdiction Detective observed a Pontiac Grand AM following close behind a tractor-trailer truck.

The two occupants of the vehicle, 35-year-old Paul Huler Works and 36-year-old J.R. Morgan, are each charged with possession of cocaine for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Works is additionally charged with simple possession of marijuana and following too close.

A sack that had two smaller bags of a white powdery substance was found in the vehicle. Also seized was a set of digital scales.
