Dustin Harris, who joined the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce as communications administrator last October, was promoted to network administrator effective Aug. 16.
From 2005 to 2007 Harris was employed by J103-FM/Partners for Christian Media, Inc. He served as traffic manager, IT manager, accounts receivable manager and collection manager.
While serving an internship at J103, he assisted in planning and publicizing one of the largest Christian music festivals in the region.
Harris received a B.A. degree in communication from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2005.
In the summer of 2004 he was selected as one of 12 UTC students to attend a six-week course in India. He traveled extensively throughout the country to examine how Eastern cultural norms have been influenced by Western mass communication.
Harris and his wife, Courtney, an elementary school teacher, have a son, Brayden. They live in Dayton, TN.
