Dr. Zmaj received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern College in Collegedale, Tn., and went on to earn his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and trained as a Fellow in pediatric urology at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.
Dr. Zmaj is a member of the American Urological Association, American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
The diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired urological conditions and diseases in children is of critical importance to the families in the region. While Children's Hospital has worked with Vanderbilt Children's Hospital for a number of years to provide urology appointments, a permanent local program led by Dr. Zmaj will now be available for children in this area.
