Danny Turner, 45, of Whitwell, died on Saturday, August 23, 2008, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, along with his wife, Elizabeth Turner.
A loving husband and father, he was a self-employed truck driver and a member of the Black Pistons Motorcycle Club.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Newman; father, James H. “Jim” Turner; and half-brother, James Turner Jr.
Survivors include his daughters, Casey Turner, Chattanooga, Nikia Angle, Whitwell; sons, Jeremy Harris, Chattanooga and Dallas; father, John Newman, Chattanooga; brothers, Gary Newman and Randy Turner; aunts, Catherine Lilly, Eloise Wallins, and Irene Roberts; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel with Rev. Al Kashimer officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
