Some East Ridge residents will notice a change in their garbage service, starting on Monday. Officials said, "The reliable service that citizens have grown to love will remain the same, just the days of the week will change."
Residents whose routes will change, have already been notified by a door hanger last week. Some residents whose pick-up days were Monday and Thursday will change to Tuesday and Friday,
This is to help simplify routes and help reduce fuel and repair costs. If residents did not receive a door knocker with the addressed changes, then their routes will remain the same. Only a small portion of routes will change.
