A Chattanooga Police officer lost his Taser during his tour of duty Tuesday evening in the East Lake/Rossville Boulevard area.
The holster for the device broke free from his duty belt while getting in and out of the patrol car in the rain while working a traffic crash.
A detailed search of the area was conducted last night and again today, but the device has not been located.
Anyone finding the Taser should call the Chattanooga Police Department immediately at 698-2525, officials said.
