The Walker County Chamber of Commerce has launched its Entrepreneur Resource Center, a one-stop resource of information and contacts for those who are interested in opening or growing a small business in Walker County.
The Center can be found at http://www.walkercochamber.com/entrepreneur.htm.
A highlight of the Center is access to the manual, How to Start a Small Business in Walker County. Included in the book is information on local and state contacts, self assessments, business plans, and the legal aspects of starting a business.
The Center also features links to a Job Bank, which can be used to either solicit or find employment, small business classes and seminars, as well as area business and commercial properties for sale or lease.

The Chamber is located inside the Walker County Civic Center, located at 10052 North Highway 27 in Rock Spring.
