MEMPHIS -- Chattanoogs's Neil Spitalny shot a 2-over 74 on Thursday, but found himself only two shots back in the TGA Senior Amateur Championship a the Windyke Country Club.
Leading the field was Germantown's Larry Dupree at plus 2 144 (70-74).
Four players were two shots back at even-par 146 including Spitalny (72-74), Germantown's Jack Ramsey (74-72), Franklin's Bob Gillespie (74-72) and Collierville's Doug Miller (71-75).
Chattanooga's Ronnie Law stands at 149 (73-76).
Cleveland's Chuck Jabaley, who shared the first-round lead at 2-under 70, turned in an 82 on Wednesday and is tied for 17th.
