Dorothy Mae Poe, 76, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008.
She was a member of Daisy United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Hamilton L. Poe; several brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Edd) Valentine, Annie (Robert) Fowlkes, Jennifer (Ronnie) Cosper, Vickie (Adolph) Spiegelhalter, Jamie Poe; brother, Benny E. “Sonny” Smith; grandchildren, Lindsey Kyle, Hayley Kyle, Trey Valentine, Sydney Valentine, Summer Cosper; great-grandson, Trevor Valentine, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Sammy Joe.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, at Daisy United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lonnie Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-3 and 6-9 p.m. on Thursday.
