Worked For Loveman's, Proffits For Many Years

Mildred Stubblefield, 85, of East Ridge, died on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 in a local hospital.
She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. She had worked at Lovemans Department Store for many years and retired from Proffits.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Stubblefield and a brother, Charles L. Roberts, II.
Survivors include her children, Bill Stubblefield and wife, Kathy of Dalton, Ga., Carolyn Myers and husband, Jim of Harrison, Tn., and Richard Stubblefield and wife, Jacquelen of East Ridge; grandson, Greg Stubblefield of Dalton, Ga.; brother, L.C. Roberts of East Ridge, Tn.; nephew, Charles L. Roberts, III of Ooltewah; three nieces, Wanda Duda of Warner Robbins, Ga., Brooke Roberts Bourgeois of Atlanta, Ga., and Carrie Francisco of Ringgold, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist with the Rev. Ray Marler and the Rev. Amy Nutt officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
