Baylor Girls Soccer Opens Season With 4-2 Win Over Siegel posted August 28, 2008 Kamesha Woodfine scored two goals and assisted on another as Baylor opened the soccer season Wednesday with a 4-2 win over Siegel. Seigel struck first taking a 1-0 lead before Woodfine's first goal tied the score. Caroline Scales gave Baylor a 2-1 lead but Siegel tied it back up. Woodfine's second scoring strike put the Raiders ahead for good and Peyton Thomas put the game away with another Baylor goal. Woodfine and Carissa Sanchez had assists in the game. Baylor, 1-0, hosts Pope John Paul II, Ensworth, and Hutchison in a three-game tournament this weekend. |
