The Lady Trojans volleyball team topped Hixson 3-1 Thursday evening. Soddy-Daisy is now 3-0.
Soddy's varsity looked seasoned in their first two wins, holding the Lady Cats to 13 and 7 points.
Hixson won the third game
25-19 against the Soddy reserves. Soddy was forced to re-enter the first unit and scored a quick 25-10 win in the final set.
According to Soddy-Daisy Coach Lorri Johnson it is always a special game when the two teams meet.
"Many of the Soddy players were coached by Coach Tate at Loftis," said Coach Johnson, "and they always want to show her how much they've improved",
"I appreciate the fine job she does at both Loftis and Hixson. My girls are thankful as well."
