Dr. Joels is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Ky. He completed his residency in general surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. He completed a Fellowship in vascular surgery at Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC. He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
