Les Edward Jones, 50, of Summerville, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Floyd Medical Center.
Mr. Jones was born November 8, 1957 in Topeka, Ks., the son of Leona Mae Frey Jones and the late Gordon Taylor Jones. He was employed at Mt. Vernon Mills. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Desert Storm.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Patricia Jones; children, Randall Jones, Summerville, Amy Brown, Gadsden, Ala.; mother, Leona Jones, Adairsville, Ga.; sister, Brenda Vick, Adairsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Dylan Jones and Anthony Dinning.
Mr. Jones will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today.
