Williams Leads Baylor To 41-12 Romp Over St. Anne's
by special report to The Chattanoogan
posted August 29, 2008

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Baylor's Red Raiders just hope they can be partying again next Friday night.

Baylor, coached by Phil Massey, opened the 2008 high school football season in style Friday night with an impressive 41-12 victory here over St. Anne's Belfield School.

The Red Raiders will certainly get tougher competition at home on Sept. 5 when they play Montgomery Bell Academy in a Division II game.

Junior running back Sam Williams was the star Friday night for Baylor, rushing for 152 yards -- 126 in the second quarter.

Quarterback Charlie Wilson was 5-of-10 for 60 yards for the Red Raiders and Tanner Taylor was 5 of 6 on extra-point kicks.

Massey played mostly his freshmen in the second half.
