It's amazing how so many people can be so overjoyed about Obama being
selected for President at the Democratic convention. He made history
because he is a black man, they say. Well, he is a white man, too. I
understand he has a black father and a white mother. Does that not make
him as white as he is black?
I doubt if he would have got as many votes had he run as a white man though. He seems to be a very intelligent man, although I don't think he would make a very good President. I think McCain will make a better President.
I wish they would put a limit on how much the candidates could spend on elections. It's a shame the amount spent that could have fed a lot of hungry children in this country.
I hope whoever is elected will stop all this aid going overseas and stop these large companies from moving overseas.
The main thing we need to do is learn all we can about the man or woman before we vote and then vote. But please don't vote unless you know who you are voting for. That is important.
