"A Call To Action" By Contrapasso Is Sept. 25-27
posted August 30, 2008

Contrapasso on Rossville Avenue in the Main Street District is holding "A Call To Action" on Sept. 25-27.

Officials said, "It explores what happens when artists come together with the same goal in mind; provoke and inspire thought through movement. With subject matter ranging from political apathy to media control, A Call To Action will surely embolden its audience to evaluate the imprint we are making on the world."

Performances include works by guest artists Cinnamon Halbert-Smith, Angela Sweet, Chloe Spitalny, as well as revisit some of Contrapasso's signature pieces.

It will be Thursday and Friday, Sept. 25 and 26, 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 27 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

It will be at 1800 Rossville Ave., next to the Loose Cannon.
