Black Elk Speaks Native American History Event Set For Oct. 3-5

Black Elk Speaks, a Native American history event through the eyes of the Native Americans that lived it, beginning from the time Native Americans discovered Christopher Columbus on their beach, will be held on Friday, Oct. 3, at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m.

The event will be held at Audubon Acres, 900 North Sanctuary Road, a Trail of Tears Historic Site.

The weekend will be produced by the Hamilton Community Theatre, Inc, the community theatre company for the Hamilton Place, Brainerd, East Brainerd, Ooltewah, and Collegedale area. The event benefits Audubon Acres, a wildlife sanctuary in East Brainerd.
