CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Pedro Viola pitched a gem of a game to lead the Lookouts to a 2-1 win over the Huntsville Stars in Monday afternoon action before 4,915 fans at AT&T Field.

The game scoreless until the fourth, when the Lookouts scored two. Chris Heisey singled to begin the inning and stole second after a Justin Turner fly out. Tonys Gutierrez and Sean Henry both walked to load the bases. Drew Anderson followed with a single to plate Heisey. Eric Eymann then hit a sacrifice fly to put the score at 2-0.

Huntsville scored their lone run of the game in the seventh on back-to-back doubles by Michael Garciaparra and Cole Gillespie.

Pedro Viola (4-7) earned the win for the Lookouts, throwing 6.1 innings of one-run ball. He relinquished just five hits and one walk during the outing. He struck out a season-high 11.

Joe Valentine earned his fourth save of the season by pitching a perfect ninth.

Thus ends the 2008 season.
