Middle Valley Church of God Senior Pastor Mitch McClure will speak on the topic, "Don't Tell Me I Should Like This Pain" in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday. He will speak on the topic, "My Life Is Like A Blender," in the 6:30 p.m. service.
Middle Valley Church of God is located at 1703 Thrasher Pike.
Sunday school is offered each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all age groups.
Family Training Hour is offered each Wednesday at 7 p.m. with classes for all age groups. In addition to these studies, small groups are available for the children attending including Pioneers for Christ, Bluebelles, and Joybelles. Senior Pastor McClure is presently leading a Bible study on the book of First Corinthians titled, "Church Challenges" each Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the choir room.
The community is invited to participate in any or all of these activities.
2008 is a year of continuing community ministry for Middle Valley Church of God. The church ministers in a variety of areas in the community including partnerships with Ganns Middle Valley School, Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department, Memorial North Park Hospital, South Pittsburg Police Department, Soddy-Daisy Health Care Center, Family Action Council of Tennessee, Legacy Funeral Home and Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Senior Pastor McClure was appointed to Middle Valley in 1997 and continues to lead the congregation in community ministry.
