Though Dusty is little more than a year old, she seems older at first thanks to an intermingling of white hairs throughout her brown and black coat. That is a characteristic of her Australian Cattle Dog lineage, as is the double mask of dark hairs that surround her eyes.

Dusty is curious and energetic. She melts when you pet her. Like all dogs, Dusty needs someone to give her the care and attention she needs.

Dusty is waiting for adoption at the Humane Society at 212 N. Highland Park Avenue (ID A04658580). Kennel hours are 11-4 Monday-Wednesday and Saturday. Thursday hours are 11-6. Friday hours are 12-4. The phone is 624-5302.
