WWII Veteran Retired From Coca-Cola Bottling Company

Rex was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean War during which he was wounded receiving a Purple Heart. He was a member of Apison United Methodist Church, and retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company with over ten years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Reatha Rockholt, and a sister, Martha.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, JoAnn Rockholt of Apison; son, and daughter-in-law, Randy and Debbie Rockholt of Chattanooga; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Delmar McNabb of Whitwell, Vickie and Mike McHarge of Soddy-Daisy, and Jeannie and Todd Greenwell of Ooltewah; six grandchildren, Candice, Amanda, Christy, Jared, Amy, and Joe; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
A special “thanks” to his cousin, Terry Center for all of his kindness, love, and attention to Rex.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Apison United Methodist Church with Rev. Todd Chancy officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
