EPB Contract Crews Aid In Hurricane Gustav Restoration posted September 4, 2008
It is estimated that 1.1 million people are without power in affected areas at this time. EPB’s contract crews will spend the next two to four weeks working on storm restoration from this past weekend’s hurricane as well as any potential damage caused by additional storms that are slated to hit the coast in the coming days. Dillard Smith and PIKE were similarly released from contract in 2005, spending more than two months assisting with restoration efforts after Hurricane Katrina. |
