Lona Estelle Harvey, 91, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008.
She was born July 7, 1917, to the late Lonie Belle Taylor Mitchell and John Henry Mitchell in Dalton, Ga. She was of the Church of God faith and worked as a waitress for Johnson’s Truck Stop.
She also was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a stepmother, Lula Mitchell; stepson, John Harvey Jr.; stepdaughter, April Witt; special friend and caregiver, Brandy Davis; brother, Billy Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
