Jewell Hamilton Bryant, 76, died at her residence on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Bryant was a lifelong member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Bryant; parents, John Allen and Bernice Stuart Hamilton; and a sister, Wilma Dean Hicks.
Survivors include her son, Dale (Lisa) Bryant; grandchildren, Taylor and Tanner Bryant, of Dunlap; sisters, Martha Lou (Wayne) Reynolds, of Dunlap, Barbara (Danny) Buffington, of Texarkana, Tx., and Gretchen (James) Day, of Oak Ridge, Tn.; brother-in-law, Paul Hicks, of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Andrew Brown.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. CDT on Saturday in Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Justin Griffin and Brother Jonathon Richey officiating. Burial will be in Bryant Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. CDT on Friday.
