William Terrell “Bud” Holbrook, 73, 0f Cloudland, Ga., died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Holbrook was born July 23, 1935 in Chattooga County, Ga., the son of the late William Era and Mary Jane Hope Holbrook. Mr. Holbrook was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Rose Holbrook; son, Curtis Lee Holbrook, Cloudland, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia Rebecca & Dudley Easler, Mentone, Ala., Melisa Ann and Clinton Carroll, Rainsville, Ala., Phyllis Denise and Robert Johnson, Cloudland, Ga.; sister, Martha Sue Smith, Cloudland, Ga.; 8eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marlin Starnes officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Ballinger, Johnny Smith, Charles Ballinger, Charlie Huskey, Andy Huskey, and William Hegwood.
