Lily Yyonne Pell Wible, 74, died on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 2, 1934, to the late Rev. Levi Pell and Sarah Bankston Pell in Cleveland. She was a devoted member of Lifegate Church who loved sharing her faith and helping others. She enjoyed going to flea markets, cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She also was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Pell.
Survivors include her loving husband, Richard I. Wible, of LaFayette; six children and spouses, Cindy and Joel McDaniel, of Randallsman, N.C., Tammy and Ron Carsetter, Rick and Sharon Wible, all of Gettysburg, Pa., Joseph A. and Becky Wible, of Mobile, Al., Kenneth and Susan Wible, of Ringgold, Ga.; and Anita Pell of Maryland; four sisters, Lillian, Donna, Jean and Edith; seven brothers, Dallas, Holbert, Elmer, Delane, Wayne, Wendell and Herschel; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on 1 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Her family will receive friends from 12-9 p.m. on Sunday, and prior to the service on Monday.
