Shirley Jean Earley, 68, of Cleveland, died Thursday morning at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Revia Thompson; one sister, Betty Shamblin; and her brothers, R.L, J.B, Charles, Sammy, Herbert and Derbe Thompson.
Mrs. Earley had worked at Collins Mfg for several years and also Brown Stove. She was a member of the South Cohutta Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Earley of Cleveland; eight children and one step son; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Jo Ann Frazier of Cleveland, Eva Martin of Cleveland and Jane Parker of Dalton; one brother, Jack Thompson of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be Conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Reverend Darren Fansler officiating. Interment will follow in Flint Spring Cemetery.
The Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
