Arlie Dewitte Robinson, 66, of Summerville, died on Friday Sept. 5, 2008, in Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Robinson was born March 12, 1942, in Chattooga County Ga., the son of the late Lawrence and Willie Mae Baker Robinson. He was employed with Mohawk Ind., and preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Crabtree.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Etta Robinson; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Robinson, Daniel and Debbie Robinson, Stacey and Star Robinson, Yancey and Sabrina Robinson, all of Summerville; daughter, Libby Beene, Summerville; sisters, Betty Henderson, Acworth, Ga., Bonnie Lou Jenkins, Lafayette, Ga., Ella Mae Franklin, Summerville, Ga.; brothers, Lawrence Robinson, Menlo, Ga., Charlie Robinson, Trion, Ga., Leonard Robinson, Gaylesville, Ala., Ralph Robinson, and Perry Robinson of Summerville; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Raburn officiating with interment in the Robinson Cemetery. Active Pallbearers James Franklin, Randall Franklin, Max Chambless, Tommy Young, Jr., Dennis Robinson, Gus Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Stacy Young, Wayne Henderson, Cassey Robinson.
Mr. Robinson will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
