Poor Judgment By Rep. Cobb posted September 7, 2008 It seems the only thing larger than Rep Cobb's arrogance is his capacity for poor judgment. The moronic placing of a listening device under an associate's desk is not only criminal, but, more importantly, is insulting. Rep. Cobb would have us believe that he placed the device and then totally forgot it until it was discovered two days later. One might inquire if other members of the legislature have been targets of Rep. Cobb's curiosity. I would expect that some might question that probability. The investigation by the TBI is certainly an appropriate response in this disgusting incident. When subjected to criticism for his BEP vote, Rep Cobb suggested that voters needed to "just get over it." It will be interesting to see how he gets over this. Bob Kendall Chattanooga |
