A man was killed when a large gate fell on him at a business on Rossville Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.
Around 1:30 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to 4301 Rossville Blvd. at ACME Industrial Piping.
Officers found that a large metal gate had fallen on Michael Reid, 55, of Chattanooga.
According to a fellow employee, Mr. Reid was sandblasting on the gate when it collapsed.
The body was taken to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's Office.
