2 Hurt In Soddy-Daisy BB Gun Drive-By Shooting
posted September 13, 2008

Two youths were hurt in a BB gun drive-by shooting at Soddy-Daisy.

The incident happened in the 11000 block of Dayton Pike.

Neither of the two victims sustained serious injuries, but one was transported to Erlanger North for treatment.

A short time later, Dayton City Police apprehended the two suspects. One suspect is a 17-year-old male and the other an 18-year-old male. Both are from Dayton.

Both suspects have been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a gun and shoplifting from the Soddy-Daisy Wal-Mart. Authorities said they took a Daisy air BB gun pistol that looks like a real 9mm gun.

The 17-year-old went to the Juvenile Detention Unit and the 18-year-old to the Hamilton County Jail.
