Chattanooga Police should not have trouble running down a shoplifter at the Children's Place at Hamilton Place Mall.
Store officials said Wendy Davis came into the store and gave her name, address and Social Security number while filling out a credit card application.
Store officials then asked to look at her driver's license, and it matched up.
Ms. Davis was leaving the store when she suddenly grabbed a handful of clothes. She ran off with the items.
Manager Melissa Lewis said it is believed the items taken are valued less than $500 so a warrant was taken against Ms. Davis for theft under $500.
