Arthur Julian "Red" Winters, 73, died on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at his home.
He was born in Murray County, Ga., to the late John and Aline Winters, and was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Winters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Luwana Winters, of Rossville; children, Becky Roach, of Rossville, Jennifer McWhorter, of Ringgold, Steve Winters, of Dalton; sister, Faye Shirlen, of Dalton; grandchildren, Phylicia, Robby, Jesse, Elizabeth, Mary Grace; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel with the Rev. Neal Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
His family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
