The Hixson/Hixon family reunion will be held Saturday, October 11, starting at 11:00am EST.
The reunion will be held at Hixson United Methodist Church at 5301 Old Hixson Pike. The church is located near the Hixson Middle School ball fields and Vandergriff Park.
A buffet-style lunch will be served starting at 1:00 pm. Please bring a covered dish to share)
A brief program will begin at 2:00pm, where special recognitions will be awarded.
Please bring Hixson-Hixon family heritage items of interest (including: all updated immediate family genealogical records) no matter how inconsequential.
A Planned Update of Hixson-Hixon of Tennessee book by Dolly Silva Porter is in the works. The current, book was published in 1992 and is available for $30 (which includes shipping & handling), ordering information can be obtained at the reunion.
