CSAS/CSLA Kindergarten Admissions Process Starting
posted October 1, 2008

The line to begin the kindergarten admissions process for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts and Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences began early Wednesday afternoon at CSAS.

Officials said, "Standing in line is not a criteria for admission. However, as in the past, parents have taken measures to ensure that their child's application is among the first received by the Paideia Admissions Office.

"As the process outlines, when the line begins, a message will be put on the answering machine in the Paideia Admissions Office. In addition, a yellow banner signifying the beginning of a line to be first to submit kindergarten applications will be placed in front of both CSAS and CSLA."

Under the guidelines for the process, the line will be recognized by both the district and the two schools.
