Black Elk Speaks Native American History Event Set This Weekend posted October 1, 2008 Black Elk Speaks, a Native American history event through the eyes of the Native Americans that lived it, beginning from the time Native Americans discovered Christopher Columbus on their beach, will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The weekend will be produced by the Hamilton Community Theatre, Inc, the community theatre company for the Hamilton Place, Brainerd, East Brainerd, Ooltewah, and Collegedale area. The event benefits Audubon Acres, a wildlife sanctuary in East Brainerd. Event staff and cast opportunities still available.
