This week Crime Stoppers is trying to help solve a homicide that occurred on Oct. 14, 2006 at the Shallowford Springs Car Wash at 2240 Hickory Valley Road.
Around 4 a.m., Chattanooga Police Patrol officers responded to what was reported to be a traffic accident at the carwash. Upon their arrival they found David D. Braswell's 1994 white Chevrolet Corvette crashed into the vacuum island.
Police found Braswell inside the vehicle and observed he had been shot resulting in his death at the scene.
At the time witnesses state they heard a loud bang and observed the vehicle hit the vacuum island.
Detectives have gained information on this homicide; however they need help in confirming the information.
