Myra Lynn Hunter, 49, of Trion, died on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Floyd Medical Center.
Mrs. Hunter was born in Trion, Ga. on March 6, 1959, daughter of Fred J. Hunter and Lima Sue Hampton Hunter. She was a member of the Cornerstone Ministries in Cedar Bluff, Ala. and prior to ill health was employed as a weaver with the American Rug Mill. Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother, Freddie Hunter.
Mrs. Hunter is survived by her mother, Sue Hunter of Rome; father and step-mother, Fred and Dale Hunter of Menlo; daughter and son-in-law, Casey and David Daniel of Trion; brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Evette Hunter of Ranger, Ga., and Darry and Julie Hunter of Menlo; sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Terry Vaughn of Cleveland; grandchildren, Blake Daniel and Caity Daniel; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Hunter will be held Sunday, at 3 p.m. in the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Coley and Rev. John Tifton officiating.
Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Beck, David Daniel, Jeff Hunter, Taylor Hunter, and Terry Vaughn.
