The City Council will consider a resolution on Tuesday paying tribute to local radio legend Luther Masingill.
The resolution authorizing the city engineer to erect commemorative secondary street name signs on Broad Street from 26th Street to Charger Drive designating that portion of Broad Street as “Luther Masingill Parkway.”
Luther went on the radio in 1940 and still is a regular.
