Karyn Dean Perkins, 45, died on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008.
She was born in Sacramento, Ca., but moved to the North Georgia area at an early age. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish and train dogs.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Perkins.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Joyce Rice and Willis Rice; daughter, Samatha Zagurski; son, John Zagurski; brothers and sister-in-law, Tim Perkins and Ted and Barbra Perkins.
A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. on Sunday, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Gary Miller officiating.
The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. on Sunday until service time.
